Sometimes I'm embarrassed because of who I am

Sometimes is how I began

And sometimes I just miss my friends.

The people who still loved me, even when I was a fucking idiot.

I see how special it really was now.

Even if they were just playing along.

Most of all, I hope to God that no one thought I never loved them back, and that I didn't appreciate everything they did for me.
